Parents of children getting pierced — please make sure that you have been fully clear with your child, no matter their age, that the pinch that occurs when I adorn their little lobes is very tolerable and temporary. It takes around 20 minutes to totally subside, but please do not tell them it’s nothing. If they say that they are ready, tell them that they have to be willing to pinch their earlobe as hard as they can, even with their fingernails, for twenty minutes. I will not make them do this! If they can’t do that, they are not ready.

If at any time during the procedure, they tell me no, it’s over. I have to honor their decision. If we haven’t used the jewelry yet, I’ll keep that for later. You’ll have to pay the procedure price again upon returning. Tell them to practice breathing very deep breathes as breathing helps anxiety and pain. I will make them do this. For babies, please bring your sweetie or your bestie to help you comfortably pin your littlest loved one down. 💞
